Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Public Health Network Policies.

The following policies have been developed to assist  NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (formerly Cambridgeshire PCT and Peterborough PCT) to manage lower priority treatments, surgical and clinical procedures, and high cost drugs.  On this page you will also find patient leaflets, instructions to download referral proformas, and GP and surgeon referral proformas - the GP referral proformas are available in various formats for ease of download to GP software systems, eg Vision, EMIS LV, SystmOne.

All policies are reviewed as an ongoing process of the CCPF. You will note that some of the lower clinical priority policies have been assigned to "Static Status". This means that the policy will apply indefinitely, unless or until new evidence likely to have a material effect on the policy becomes available.

Reviewed and new policies are added to this web site once they are approved by NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Board or the shadow Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group.  Also included in the policies below are the web page links to a number of East of England (EoE) Specialised Commissioning Policies.

Note: all policies are listed alphabetically and some are listed according to specialty group, eg the Orthopaedic Surgery selection drops down to reveal Carpal Tunnel, Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, etc.

Select a policy to expand the selection to view and select associated documentation.
